The Emotional Impact of a Cancer Diagnosis

A cancer diagnosis changes you.

The work of understanding your needs and the best ways to care for yourself today, takes time.

Worry and fear are normal for cancer survivors to feel, might be difficult for others to fully understand, and can feel especially strong after active cancer treatment ends.  If you are living with metastatic disease, your perspective changes shifting the way you care for yourself as well. And, as a caregiver it can be challenging to prioritize your needs in the thick of caring for someone you love.

The entirety of my professional career has been focused on the mental and emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis, even more specifically working with survivors under the age of 40 years.  When you reach out for support you can trust I have training and experience in the unique ways a cancer diagnosis triggers stress and loss alongside a vast knowledge about additional resources that may be helpful to you.

Check out the resources below and the calendar of upcoming speaking engagements to learn more ways to connect with me.
